Fr. George Dokos
Fr. George Dokos was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 1995 (B.S. Pharmacy). In 1999, he received an M.Div. from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. In 2010, Fr. Dokos received a Th.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has served parishes in Texas, South Dakota, Colorado, and Minnesota. He is married to Presvytera Christa, and they have four children: Paraskevi, Nikodimi, Dimitrios, and Marika.

Fr. Nicholas Georgiou
Fr. Nicholas Georgiou graduated from the Indiana University School of Business and received an M.Div from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in 2000. He is married to Presvytera Michelle and they are blessed with two beautiful children - Marianna and Iakovos.

Deacon Perry Hamalis
Deacon Perry was baptized as an infant at Holy Apostles and has spent most of his life as a member of our parish. After graduating from York High School (Elmhurst), he earned a B.A. from Boston College, an M.Div. from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and a Ph.D. in Religious Ethics from the University of Chicago. Deacon Perry works full time as the Cecelia Schneller Mueller Professor of Religion at North Central College (Naperville), where he teaches courses in Ethics, Theology, and Philosophy. Deacon Perry and Diakonissa Pat were married in 1995 and have two adult children Michael (spouse, Sophia) and Gia.

Lou Kafkes
Parish Administrator
Lou has attended Holy Apostles for almost 50 years. Since 2019, he has served the Church and its parishioners on the Parish Council, most recently as its Treasurer. During this time, he has proven to be a trusted partner, collaborator and problem solver. He and his wife Stacy live in Western Springs and have two adult children, Alaina and Diana, who live in San Francisco and Boston, respectively.

Alexa Cussick

Alexa graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and received her law degree from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School). After years of practicing law and volunteering as a GOYA advisor, she pursued a calling to work full time in the church. Alexa will be married in spring 2024 to her fiancé, George.

Parish Council
All of us come together to form the one body of Christ that is comprised of the parish council (elected lay stewards) that serve with the clergy to foster the spiritual growth of the parish's ministries, maintain the church facilities, and work with the entire parish family to ensure that the financial and administrative needs of the parish are met.
